Welcome to WDPP. Some of you may know William David from the recent photography work, others from my 30 + years in the photographic retail trade or as a freelance photographer, or in the many other fields I have wandered into since leaving education! As you can see from the "Polaroid" on here I have not worn well, and prove once again why photographers often don't get their picture taken! To be serious in those years so much has changed, and with change comes the need to adapt. This is in all walks of life ofcourse, but in regard to the photographic and electronics industries which broadly speaking is my field, the changes are incredable. Indeed my first AF compact was the Canon AF35M which was great for shooting the start of pro cycle events and news shots. Anyways back to the plot - cine a passion of mine since a lad became video, and autofocus became common place! So my phone bills went up, but so did my computer time. Then whilst working at Selfridges we began to see the very first consumer digitals - big, basic and very expensive!! Generations now, and really it's not that long ago [!] fail to understand just how we lived without the i pod, the mobile phone, Facebook and Jeremy Clarkson. But we certainly did.... >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> continued
